Appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert: Sanjay Gupta/Denis Villeneuve (2021). I just watched all 9 episodes and my favorite was the sixth one, Gganbu. It’s not perfect or a masterpiece, but it’s very well done and delivers on some level of excitement. The entire show went far beyond what was shown in the trailer. Very well directed, acted and finds its own unique points in the genre’s mix of references such as Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji, Battle Royale and so on. I just hope everyone else enjoys it not only in Korea but everywhere! P.S. Even to Korean ears, the VIPs’ English conversations were not well written or acted. I think the drama could have done without them and saved the budget.
