Abrams’ Lost almost had a completely different cast
Synopsis
The survivors of a plane crash must work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island… J.J. See which celebs missed one of the most popular TV shows of all time. Sawyer’s character was originally supposed to be an older, neatly dressed urban con man from Buffalo, NY.
However, when Koreans marry, the woman never takes the man’s surname
But when Josh Holloway forgot a line during an audition and later kicked a chair in frustration and cursed loudly, the writers liked the edge it gave Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as a more Southern, gritty drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the same surname, Kwon, which becomes a major plot point in the final season. In fact, marrying with the same surname isn’t even allowed in Korea, except in rare cases. [repeated line] Desmond Hume: See you in the next life, brother.

The weird opening credits are by J.J. Abrams carrying a laptop in black and white as an homage to The Twilight Zone. I’ve watched a lot of TV in my life, maybe too much. But this is the best TV series I’ve seen in ages.

You just can’t predict what’s going to happen. It seems like every week the show tells something new about the island and its inhabitants. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what’s going to happen and before I know it the show is over and I have to wait to find out what happens next. Absolutely fascinating!
This show is great and I hope it continues because often fantastic US shows get cancelled because the ratings drop a bit or the people in charge feel the shows are too weird
I really hope the series continues so we can get it here in England because it’s a fantastic show and I would love to have a DVD of this series so I can get all my friends excited too.
