Synopsis
When a loyal police dog and his owner, a police officer, are injured together, a cerebral but life-saving operation brings the two together and Dog Man is born. The Dog Man is sworn to protect and serve—and to fetch and sit and roll over. As Dogman adopts his new identity and tries to impress his boss (Lil Rel Howery, Get Out, The Free Guy), he must stop the rather evil feline supervillain Pete the Cat (Pete Davidson; Saturday Night Live, The King of Staten). island). Petey’s latest plan is to clone himself, creating Lil Petey the kitten to double his crime-fighting prowess. But things get more complicated when Lil Petey develops an unexpected bond with a dog person. When Lil Petey falls into the clutches of a common enemy, Dog Man and Petey reluctantly join forces in an action-packed race against time to save the young kitten. In the process, they discover the power of family (and kittens!) to bring together even the most hostile of enemies.
